The Majestic Cinemas

Continuing its 80-year downtown tradition of movies, the new Majestic Performing Arts Center features two new cinemas that for the first time will bring fine art films to Adams County. The larger cinema seats 192 patrons, and is designed for flexible presentations including film, lectures, recitals, and black-box theater. The second cinema seats 93 patrons and is dedicated to films every night. Both new cinemas are designed in the 1950s style of "high swank" in honor of the theater's Eisenhower era, and feature:

• 35mm and digital projection systems.
  
• Dolby-digital surround sound systems.
  
• Comfortable stadium seating with drink cup holders.
  
• And for the young at heart, one pair of cuddle-up seats in every row. (No smooching allowed during the coming attractions.)
